Unique birdhouse is handcrafted from felted wool and hand-dyed yarns. Sustainably harvested materials like sheep wool, natural hemp and bamboo are used by skilled Fair Trade artisans in Katmandu, Nepal.

Wool is a naturally water repellent material that sheds rain. When the surface gets wet it it dries swiftly. Offer birds a prime spot where they can raise young. For those who don't use birdhouses... they're likely to snag some soft fibers to build their own nest in your shrubs or trees!1.25" entrance accommodates chickadees, titmice, wrens, and other small cavity-nesting birds.

Wool birdhouses are designed for year-round outdoor use, and will maintain their structure for a few nesting seasons. Longer life span if hung in a sheltered area. Colors may begin to fade if left in direct sunlight for extended time.
